Al qaida is probably not a real terrorist organization. sorry to burst your sense of reality. Its most likely a group of our planests most powerful learders trying to find a way to manipulate the masses with fear of the unknown. Our leaders know that there is a vast population of ignorant people who become wildly defensive and fearful when faced with the knowledge of other religions and ideas. They use this to create hate, and fear so that their violence is justified. If you are afraid of Al qaida, then you are probably a republican, fundamentalist christian, or just silly in the head. - Get the US off of "sacred soil" (i.e. get the US military out of Saudi Arabia.) Not many people know it, but this stated aim was realized a couple of years ago.

- End the state of Israel

- Reestablish the Caliphate (a reign by a sort-of pan-Islamic king, kind of like a pan-national European Union for muslims, but religious, regressive, and autocratic.)
