i t hink it's wrong. but the way most are taught it's that apperence, personilaty and what you see is what the person is like. it's like seeing someone who looks like they are 350 pounds but only 250 eating 4 cheeseburgers and 20 peice nugget at mcdonalds you automaticaly assume that person is an overweight fast food lover and lazy. but then you see this hot chick short short skirt skimpy see through shirt you think slut when in reality she may just be nice and a prude. then you take someone who dress's down in baggy shirts and baggy pants you think she is a thug. not true she could have had bad things happen when she showed her body and doesn't feel comfortable doing so again becasuse of it. we can't souly base how we feel about a person because of the personility, look, talk, act, walk. but because we do as you can tell we assume mean things about the person and have that person sterotyped in our minds. but if we actually took the time out to talk to them i am sure u could see a difference in them. i never truly judge a person till i talk to them and see their view points.

My opinion is that a mature person is doing exactly what you suggest. Improving themselves instead of busy judging others. In fact this transition is an early adulthood developmental step (starting to apply the standards you have for others to yourself).
People should move into this sometime in their 20's. If they don't they are behind the developmental curve. I hope for it before 25 in a healthy, mature person.

well i looked at myself and saw what i needed to do, and what i needed to do was to judge people quickly and tell them what to do. so ever since then, i have done something about it and have been relentlessly judging people quickly and telling them what to to. it may be too late but that is just my personal opinion.

I agree with you on one hand vero with regards to us not doing something to change ourselves. However, I am an extremely judgemental person and intend on keeping it that way. We are all entitled to our own opinions. Yet, I am willing to admit I do have my own faults and am trying hard to overcome them.

Because judging is easier than actually doing something.

I feel that easier to focus on other people's problems than our own.
By passing judgement, we feel better about ourselves.
