If you were positive that astrology was a scam, would you still want to pursue it? Why haven't the nations of the world embraced it as a legitimate science? Maybe it's just a recreational past time for you and you won't grow to really believe in it. But who's to say what lies people can be taught to believe? Witness the world's cults like Jone's Town (The People's Temple), The Moonies, Scientology, Heaven' Gate, Hitler's Germany, and the Branch Davidions etc. I'm simply saying that we should challenge what we believe.

As regards cults: God made the stars. And the Zoroastrian Mages - astrologers who knew the stars and the signs - in the bible (watered down in translation as 'The Wise Men') were an integral part of the discovery which heralded in the new messiah. If Astrology were evil, then why in the world would the Bible use it as a relevant example of proof as to Jesus' nature?
