I saw this about free access to the World eBook Fair, but don't know if I could ever read a book on my computer or laptop. what's it like?

It's okay. My library has a program that allows you to "virtually" check out books by downloading an eBook. In general, the advantages are that it is cheaper and that it is easier to search through the book. The disadvantages are that, unless your computer screen is amazing, it causes eye strain.

Ive been a Temp for a while so some of the jobs i get are really boring. I like reading online cus it looks like im doing work (which is what i get told to do alot..."try to look busy"). I go to my Library's ebook section. Not everything is available to read but theres enough to choose from. I dont think i would ever choose an ebook over a real book at home though.

i spend so much time working on the computer than when i read a book, i like hard copy so i can read outside, away from my desk,
