I don't think they'll move him. He and Bryzgalov make a powerful one-two punch in net for the Ducks, and unless they're going to go after Manny Legace, there is no one out there that equals up to JS' abilities (and contract).

I've heard a lot of rumors. Rumor had it that Burke was going to make a big move and trade Giguere... then Pronger came along and that plan didn't work out. Personally, I'd much rather have Giguere and Bryz battle for starting goalie next season--by mid-season there should be a clear winner and the other would make a fantastic back up or wonderful trade material. I do not want to see Legacy backing up either of them! If Burke was/is smart he'd hang on to both of them (even if most people think they're two starting goalies--nobody said he was crazy for turning the Ducks defense into a one-two Pronger-Neidermayer punch... why can't he do the same for goalies?).

I think that trading Giguere might be good if they can find another starting goalie. I don't think Bryz is ready to start for the ducks. Don't get me wrong Bryz is a great goalie but not a starting goalie. I have heard rumors of trading Giguere though.

i imagine Calgary wins the commerce. Hagman has already 20 targets and 15 assists and has a actual awesome destiny in head of him, Stajan is a actual speedy participant and strikes his ft properly and may carry out somewhat damage, Ian White he can flow the %. o.k. and became likely the leafs 2d ideal defenceman. it truly is an effective prize to pay for even as your crew is already suffering contained in the offence section. J.S. Giguere isn't the goalie the Leafs pick. Toskala better than Giguere by technique of a procedures, yet a minimum of they get a 1st rounder decrease back.

With the signing of the Blackhawks ex back up goalie, it could only mean one thing - Giggy is going to be traded for an offensive minded forward.

Bryzgalov is not a defined starter. Burke is smart and will make the two of them battle for the starter position.
The market for goalies is slim right now, there are too many goalies thinking they can be legitamite starters. Legace, Nabokov, Biron etc etc.

Don't think that they are going to trade him. He is a good goalie, but he was just hurt this season.

Giggy is probably the only Duck that they're not willing to trade.
