No, that gesture was unsportsmanlike and childish. To think that a pro in this high of a competitive event would behave in front of the world like this is unacceptable. His antics may have tainted the youth players of the world into thinking that this is acceptable when you are an intense and aggressive player. It has brought a foul stench to the integrity of the sport.

I really enjoyed watching Italy win the world cup in the end!!!!

And I really enjoy watching that same French guy got redcarded and sent off . And I really enjoy watching that Italian guy went on to win the WC . LOL

yes, he dropped, that was awseom, if it was anybody else besides him, or de rossi, or toni, or cannavario, or cannavissi, or grosso, or #8 on the italian team, or some of the other italians, then i wouldn't have though that it was NOT cool, well, it wasn't cool, it was really bad spartsmanship, but so was calling zidane a dirty terrorist.... but zidane should have done it so that materazzi had to be taken off, if he was going to get himself off, then he needed to take a player with him, and materazzi deserved it.

No, because virtually that cost French the win and he was retiring anyway after the world cup. I was disappointed seeing that, he is a better athelete than that.

Yes I did but for one reason: I wanted Zizou out so we could win because he's so bloody lucky that he makes you feel like rubbish near him. Well good luck to him. He ended his carreer with all the honrs.Hahahahahaha
