Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life"
That restaurant scene makes me queasy just thinking about it. Very disturbing indeed.

Dancer in the Dark.
I've watched many horror films and they don't disturb me at all. I can watch blood and guts and supernatural themes with no problem. Dancer in the Dark is not a horror film - you could even call it a musical - but it was so painful and disturbing to watch because it was so real. I had to keep stopping the DVD and leaving the room before I could continue watching. No film has ever disturbed me like this before. The scene at the end, with the sound of the rope, was so chilling. It was heart-breaking and truly the most distrurbing film I've ever seen.

Without a doubt "Bastard out of Sout Carolina"
It's about a little girl, Bone, who is terribly abused and repeatedly raped by her step father while her mother stands by and lets it happen. I've never seen anything like it before.
It has well known stars in it, it's not some independent b movie with unkown people. It stars, Jenifer Jason Leigh, Ron Eldard, and Jenna Malone. It was directed by Angelica Houston. When I got it, I certainly wasn't expecting it to be so graphic.

Disturbing?
Well you really want to go there, I saw this porno at my bf's house last week --lol
Um, in terms of mind altering, American History X is somewhat disturbing. The part where he kills the crypt on the curb always makes me tear up.

Sleepy Hallow
I watched it when I was 7 years old and had nightmares for a long time! Many people say its not scary, but I can still remember that headless dude carrying the heads and the bloody mess! Ugh, creepy stuff!
