Would that maybe be Kriss Kross (old twin rap group)....
songs called "Jump" and the lyrics are like, "The Mac Dad will make ya...Jump, Jump....Kriss Kross will make ya....Jump, Jump"
That's all I can come up with. Try doing a google search, type in the lyrics you know then type "lyrics" afterwards and maybe the song will show up for you.

The song may actually be "Shout" written by the Isley Brothers - as the song gets faster, the word "jump" and "hey" is used...couldn't find who actually had the hit and its popular version...(and it is bugging me! - c'mon people help out here...live version, and the singer says, "now...people you make me want to...") Its NOT Jump by Kris Kross. I just did a search for those words under http://lyrics.astraweb.com/ and also searched the Kris Kross song and it isn't that. Have you any more clues (i.e. was it a agroup or singer, etc...)
