you can get pregnant on your period although it isnt as likely. You can get pregnant anytime and any age unless you've went through menopause.

If you dont want to get pregnant then make sure you are on birth control and use a condom to be sure and to prevent std's

a woman's most fertile days are the days right before or after her period. I've heard there are only 2-3 days a month that a person can actually get pregnant. Don't use this as a birth control. I got pregnant having sex on the last day of my period.

Do you mean is it possible to conceive while you bleed?

While it's unlikely, it IS possible. A major cause for irregular periods is irregular ovulation. I know of this because I have it (often, both ovaries produce an egg every month, but at different times). Sometimes too, your body gets a little mixed up, and you can ovulate twice or at a time different from the "standard" ovulation time.

If you have unprotected sex, you have a 99% chance of becoming pregnant anytime. The odds go down from there by using the rhythm method, which is what you are really asking about, to using condoms to the pill.

The best being the use of the condom and pill together. it is about 25% sure you will not get pregnant.

Good luck

Although it is rare, pregnancy can happen while on your period. If you are not wanting to get pregnant there is NEVER a good time to not use protection.
