Hahaha...I love how you had to explain camping. That's entirely true though. People think they are camping if they stay in a cabin with toilets and showers, but that's NOT camping!!! :o)
I go to Spring River, Arkansas all the time to go camping. We will set up our tent in the same spot all the time, right next to a creek. We go fishing and go canoeing and swimming in the creek. We always cook out on the grills for breakfast and dinner. We normally go with at least two other families so there's a lot of us there.
The only thing I HATE about camping is the BUGS!!! I can handle the rats and other small creatures that find their way into our campsites, but the bugs KILL me!!! I have to completely cover myself in spray at least four times a day. I bring extra-large cans of bug spray with me to spray circles around our tent, just nowhere near the fire or I'd blow us up... :o) I have this insane fear of bugs that doesn't quite let me relax fully while camping, but maybe it'll disappear with time...

Last time my family went camping, I was about three. We went up north, to find some real wilderness, and ended up in a swamp. My mother was miserable, all four children cried and complained, so finally my dad agreed we could go. As we packed up, he scratched himself on a long branch or something and developed blood poisoning. We haven't gone camping for 20+ years now....

We go camping all the time. You can take some beer or a book, some food; it's just really relaxing. Go hiking, if your with your boyfriend...stay in the tent of couple of hours...

I love camping, I went last summer in Sedona Arizona. we went hiking, cooked hotdogs and drank beer. It is such a great way to experience nature and get out of the rat race for a minute.

Ummm. I camp at the Hilton or Westin. If there's no electricity, running water, or indoor plumbing, I'm so NOT there.
