It's actually significantly further than 2 blocks - it's 1.8 miles from the intersection of Tropicana and The Strip (where hotels like the MGM Grand and New York-New York are located) to the Orleans at 4500 W. Tropicana. It is not walking distance unless you're in good shape.

No. It's on Tropicana, it's about 2 city blocks from the Strip.

No...but it's not far. It's a decent place... good restaurants, theaters, show rooms.... maybe you wouldn't need to even go to the strip (which is crazy, crowded and expensive)

no. if have car or willing to ride shuttle bus it is fine. not a walker's location. should not waste $$ staying on strip anyway.
