The only country to win outside thier own continent is Brazil. So you basic choices are Brazil and an African Country. Would be great to see an African nation pull it out. Though with the Europeans neutrualized maybe a Concacaf team - US or Mexico can step up and win it.

lol, this is a very vague question and a far too premature considering we are only a day removed from the World Cup championships. We have yet to see any international games, friendlies nor do we have any news on the pending return of old-timers: Figo, Beckham, Zidane, Crespo, and Ronaldo. However, as far as young talent, and most promising team from this year's world cup, I really liked Ghana's display. Ghana has a young team, they are speedy, and actually outplayed every single one of the teams they met this year. Look for them to create some more noise in their home continent when the World Cup comes to South Africa in 2010.

its between Brazil and Italy i predict the finals will be Italy-Brazil that would sure rock, cuz many Brazilians are living i think they would go to the penalty shots and if buffon is still in Italy might win (i hope Brazil wins)
