I love INXS, mate!! They are my second favorite band. I agree INXS was better with Michael b/c he is INXS, eventhough I like JD too. My favorite album is Elegantly Wasted, the lyrics are very personal to what Michael was going through at the time and I think he worked extra hard on it. Kick is also an aweome album with their classic hits like New Sensation, Need You Tonight, and Never Tear Us Apart. All their albums are awesome though. And if you haven't you should get Michael's solo album, it was released after his death, but it's an amazing album, one of my personal favorites. He is one of the greatest singers of all time and he was pretty hot. Glad to see you like awesome music, mate, Australia ROCKS HXC!!

Love and Peace, mate.

My husband and I were just talking about this a couple of days ago.

We love the original stuff from INXS.

We absolutely LOVE the new lead singer (JD Fortune) and can't get enough of "Pretty Vegas". We watched all of 'Rock Star; INXS' last season and saw how talented JD is (I mean - what he did with the Brittney Spears song was AMAZING).

OK, with all that being said, we don't really like any of the other songs on their new CD besides Pretty Vegas and we think INXS, at this point, is actually holding back JD Fortune with the songs they picked for that debut CD. We are really looking forward to future recordings of the new INXS to see if JD will have more of his influences rather than the other way around.

Great question!

I liked the Michael Hutchence INXS and I love the JD Fortune INXS. I think something about knowing where he came from on that show that makes me love him more.. his voice is just amazing to me...

I loved them back in the day, was devastated when Michael passed away, followed Rockstar: INXS religiously, and now I'm on the fence about them. JD sounds too much like Michael for my taste. I wish they had gone with someone completely different sounding. "Pretty Vegas" is rockin', and IMO, the best tune on "Switch".

They were great when Michael Hutchence was there singer before his death, but I just can not get into them with JD Fortune. Hutchence is as irreplaceable as Freddy Mercury.

Loved 'em with Micheal... Not so much with "new-boy"... He's a bit the whiny baby sometimes... Did you watch "rock star"? Not nearly as sexy as Michael either (looks or voice)... He does HAVE a good voice though... If they re-named themselves I'd like it better...

They had a good run when MH was alive. TV specials etc. I guess they are still ok. I like the sound.
