It will take you to the first link that google founds. It will save you a step of pressing search and then the first link.

"I'm feeling lucky" will automatically take you to the first result out of the google search instead of allowing you to choose it yourself.

They just choose a website for you that meets the criteria in your request and you are lucky if they are right.

it takes you to a direct web page.
example if i put labrador and press i'm felling lucky it will directly take you to a web page mainly about labradors.
