It seems like my life is almost over and I'm only 13. I don't know what I want to be when I'm in college! I LOVE to dance and I think I'm very good and I just sang in a big talent show... But when people see that... they say, Oh she's probably not good... bye dreams... but i believe i'm good. I'm in the front of every formation for cheerleading and dance and I LOVE TO DANCE. I have since I was 2 or 3. I REALLY think I might want to be a dance choreographer! I don't want a big serious job like my parents (Accountant and FACS) I want to move away... maybe to NYC or CALI... But i need help! I know I'm only 13 but I want to feel settled in what I want to do.What to do??

I think that you're at the perfect age to be figuring out what you want to do with your life. I wish that I would have when I was younger. I think that whatever you decide, its important to realise that nothing is set in stone. If you start to go to college for one thing and it turns out you're not happy, you can change majors. Take it from someone who knows (and has changed her mind twice already, hehe). If you love dance, then go for it. Passion for what you do is monumental to your success. If later on down the road you decide that its not for you, then do something else. Everyday we are given the chance for a new beginning...and come one, we're girls...we have the right to change our minds ;)

You are only 13. Believe me when I say you're life isn't almost over and is far from it actually. You have plenty of time to figure out what you want to be or do. It may take years. You may even go into college and believe you know what you want but a year or two into it, realize it wasn't what you wanted to begin with. Enjoy your childhood while you still can.

hey, okay if you are serious about being a dancer, you need to look into it now. Look up schools and classes and study any and every form of dance (depending on what style you want to do) learn as much as you can, do as many competitions as you can, and worry about moving away after highschool. But for a dance career, you need to start out young...good luck i hope you get there!

i think you should be a dance choreographer that's a great job i myself love to dance too...but then again you're only thirteen you'll have plenty of time i bet by the time you're16 you'll already be thinking about one of those big time-serious jobs like your parents..slow down...you'll get more opportunities in the future

Takes tim,e to realize what you want to do. Im 19 and work at ups where almost everyone is older than me and they are all still going to college. Do what you enjoy doing. Dont get yourself stuck somewhere you dont want to be. Like at UPS when you're 30 haha.

You still have plenty of time to grow up! Take your time. You will have lots of time to experience the things that you really want in life once you get older. DON'T RUSH IT! Enjoy being young and mostly worry-free. Once you grow up and are on your own, you'll wish that you were 13 again! I know, it's happened to me!

You're not going to know until you get much older. If you're really into dancing then stick with it, if not then you'll find something else. Don't stress it too much, it'll come to you
