That's actually the hardest place to loose weight out of your whole body, but it is possible if you are willing to work hard enough. Try and set up a good excercise regimen that it easy for you to follow. I reccommend crunches (not sit-ups - they target your upper abs, not lower ones), and do about 20 or 30 a day at first, then work your way up. Do a set or two of 10 crunches in the morning and another set or two of ten at night before you go to bed. Put your feet up against a wall, making a 90º angle with your knees, then put your hands behind your head and sit up as much as you can. Make sure to use your lower ab muscles and not your arms to do most of the work. It's ok if you only come a couple inches off the floor, as long as you feel the burn after a couple, it's working. Do them slowly too. The more slowly you do them, the more strain it puts on those muscles (which is what tones them).
It sounds to me like it's not that bad of a "hump", I have the same problem actually, so within a month, if you follow that regimen, carefully, you'll be fine. It also doesn't hurt to do other excercises (like sit-ups, push-ups, jogging, and more) to help keep your whole body in shape. And as always, eat healthily. Avoid the excess junk food and fatty things. Don't worry about it too much anyway. You're only 15 and your body will thin itself out the closer you get to your twenties. Your body is going through a lot of changes right now and it's perfectly normal. You are NOT fat or anything (many girls think that), so don't think you are. Ok? :-) Just keep telling yourself that you can do it.
Good luck!

It's not about losing weight, its all about toning. You must be in pretty good shape if your a cheerleader, you just have trouble spot. Start an ab routine, crunches are the best to get rid of the pouch. Start with 25 to 50 reps a night, and slowly increase it. Make sure you stretch before and after every routine. Drink alot of water, and cut back on salt and salty foods. Salt retains water in the body and causes us girls to be bloated. Drinking lots of water flushes the salt away.

What you need to do is buy a box or 2 of Special K cereal. Special K will help you lose weight and it has a diet plan to follow on the back. Alos, you should exercise alot like leg lifts, sit ups, crunches, push-ups, and other exercises like that. If you do those two things and don't eat alot of junk food, you will drop a jean size in 2 weeks.

You are only 15 for crying out loud!!!! You are still growing. Why are young girls these days worried about weight loss. Get over it! I seriously doubt you get called fatty every five minutes. You obviously have a self esteem issue or some very negative individuals in your life. Your body is still proportioning itself out. Every girl gets a pudge just at different times in their lives. You don't need to lose weight... I assure you.

Exercise and eat a healthy diet. I like to run and do core stretching, but my friends do pilates, yoga, or walk briskly (4 times a week) and love it! Just don't over-do it and you'll be on your way to feeling healthy and looking great
