do you cook the banana before giving it to him? When I gave my son raw bananas he got EXTREMELY gassy and fussy. Cook the bananas or just give him the Gerber bananas and see how he does with that. And ignore Kingaroo. They obviously don't have kids if they don't know that a 10 month old needs to have food other than milk. Idiots!

Great question! I gave my daughter banana for breakfast yesterday and she was not at all interested in eating lunch ( I tried feeding her twice an hour apart). She did have a hefty appetite at dinner. So, I would say yes there has to be a connection.

What the heck are you doing feeding your baby anything except breast milk (or formula)? Babies do not sleep or behave better by starting them out on foods before they're a year old; that is pure myth. The ONLY nourishment a baby needs before they're one year old is their mother's milk! That's why more than 60% of children today are grossly overweight, because parents think they're hungry every time they get fussy, when all they want is to be held or played with.

How much time is there between meals? Maybe you're feeding him too much and he's simply not hungry. Try feeding smaller portions - bananas shouldn't have anything to do with it.

bananas react to stomach acids, or any other acids, by expanding. A curious application for this in school was to eat a banana and drink a can of 7-up as fast as you can which is pretty much guaranteed to make you puke. I know this is disgusting, but it does demonstrate what bananas do.
