Is there a way to change message settings on the Razr so it beeps when I get a txt message instead of ringing?

When I get a text message on my Razr phone it rings the ring that is set for that person. Can I set it to beep or something else? It's really annoying. When I'm not by the phone I don't know if it's a call or a message, and it rings the whole length of the ring too. If there's no way to change it I guess i have to shorten my ringtones.

GO TO TONE SETTINGS AND SELECT MESSAGE TONE THEN SELECT BEEP ONCE.
