I'm curious as to how fast the average police car goes. Top speed? 0-60? How about the average highway patrol cruiser?

The oracle is a dumb-azz. 240 LMAO;
Crown-Vicky will do 132 mph, the impalla about 144 tops.
There nothing special like people think back in the day when they ran dodge's with interceptors yeah now that car moved.
But now days they have heavy duty oil pans, coolers, skid plates, and heavy duty misc parts but the motor is still much the same.
If it had any performance, it would need to be cammed thus you'd hear a low lope rumble which ive never heard ever.
Oh they have highway gears to so they can go from 40-120 like a raped ape.
By the way ive out ran a few diffrent types of squads with my V-Max when I was younger.

I've out ran the cops! They definitely don't even push 140 due to risk factors of other cars that can be involved created death. If you happen to live in LA, It's always traffic, so you don't even have to worry about doing no more than the speed limit and can out run them. Traffic slows to around 30 mph a lot of times. **** what the oracle has to say! If he worked with the police, why is he a cab driver now? haha must be some lame *** liar!

Well, I used to drive one. Both as an employee of the State Police, and as cab driver (how insane to give us ex-cop cars)
The top speed varies, it can top 240. I have seen a state trooper stop not one, but two Vettes that were racing, he got em' both.
0-60, if it's a brand new heavy duty Crown Vic interceptor
package, probably 4 sec. The highway patrol cars are the mother of all cop cars- they sometimes have to cover vast expanses of road. Seen them top out at over 240. Course,
I hear them moonshine runners have supercharged modified cars that can outrun even the FBI, and I can't begin to imagine
what the CIA or the president's security teams have.

Depends on the Car. Police drive anything from Crown Victoria's, Chevy Malibu's, and in some cases Chevy Corvettes. Just look up those cars and that will tell you.

If you're trying to avoid of getting a ticket then mostly they will go 5 mph over and/or under the speed limits. I read it while studying for Police Science.
