Hundreds. If you do a lot of chemistry on it, typically involving high temperature and some exotic materials. All involving an input of energy because going from carbon and oxygen to CO2 is energetically downhill.

The obvious, everyday, low-temperature way is to let a plant perform photosynthesis.

There are an infinite number of ways. Any substance which has a greater affinity for O than C can extract O from CO2

heat it an incredible amount, break the bonds, get the carbon out of the system and then cool it back down. or put plants into a system and put in your CO2. or inject a large amount of fluorine into the system, heat it pretty vigorously and then get rid of the CF4 thats created. any number of ways to do it, just depends on how complicated youre willing to get.

You can make oxygen or O2 in the laboratory using hydrogen peroxide - H2O2 - or potassium permanganate - KMnO4. I don't know how to make it from CO2. Plants do.

it's really really hard to do chemically. they just found an enzyme that might do it, but plants do it best
