No, it doesn't mean that you are pregnant. Your cycle was probably just off, or you had a hormonal imbalance. Also an anovulatory cycle (a cycle where you don't ovulate) can make you miss your period, but it will correct by itself, and when it does, you'll get your next period either earlier than expected or later.

It happened to me - I missed a period for a whole month, but then it came a week earlier the next month. My OBGYN said that I had just an anovulatory period - I didn't ovulate in the previous cycle. He just told me to wait and see for my period to come the next cycle, and it did.

If you suspect that you are pregnant, it is always good to rule it out with a pregnancy test. When I didn't have my period that one month, I took home pregnancy tests, and got tested again at the doctor's office. They were all negative. Just to be on the safe side, test to make sure, because you never know and life is always full of surprises. That way, if you are indeed pregnant, you can start on your prenatal care immediately.

Goodluck!

There are several reasons this could happen, most likely you are not pregnant, but it sounds like you could do with a check up... most likely your hormones are acting up, they will do that OFTEN! Also if you are under tremendous stress, dieting, or extremely active in sports it can cause you to miss a period... likely if you miss a period you will have it arrive early the next month. Another thing which can happen is you can begin cycling differently if you are hanging around other friends who are very close to you, or your mother etc... other females... your bodies will frequently try to sync up, causing your periods to act funny for awhile...

Either way you need to have a check up and look into getting onto the pill, not only for protection from pregnancy, because you should also use a condom (as protection from diseases) if you are planning on being sexually active and obviously you are... but because the pill can help to get you regulated and keep you regulated!

Good Luck....

There is always a possibility that you could be.Many women have periods or bleeding for months while they are pregnant.I didn't know I was pregnant because I was still having a period.you should make an appointment with an OB/GYN to be safe.Until then I would do things as if you were. Good luck!

No. There are different factors like stress or even a different level of activity or summer weather that can change your menstual cycles or delay it. Although if the period you did have was light or lasted one day only this could mean you are pregnant.

It could mean a lot of things. It could mean you’re stressed out, you’re not eating healthy, you’re not doing enough exercise, or there was some crazy change in you’re hormones. A hormone change could be because there was maybe a change in your sex life. But if you’re really worried just go get checked... it's probably nothing serious.

Depending on your age and your hormones, you could just be irregular. If you really think you could be pregnant, go buy a home pregnancy test or go see a doctor.

not necessarily. your cycle can vary month to month. start writing down the start date on a calender so you can get an average. Stress and exercise can affect your cycle too
