Ok he's not my boyfriend..but i know he likes me.he's asked to be my boyfriend about 3 times already..but i've never had the guts to say yes..bout a month ago i wrote him a letter telling him how great he is and that i like him,he wrote back saying he likes me too,i wrote again asking if he'll be my boyfriend.i never got answer,but i know he likes me his best friend told me..but he also said he likes this other girl hes always flirting with.One mistake i made was asking that girl not to back off but i told her she was getting in the way-she just got mad.His friend calls when hes over at his house but he never talks to me i asked his friend why and he just said that he was shy...i guess in a way i am too thats why i had to write him a letter...he thought i liked his friend and that he liked me because he said we flirt alot-is that why he's flirting with this other girl?we made it clear we don't like eachother.how do i make him stop flirting without looking like i care too much??

Must be great to be like by someone as much as you like(d) this guy. If I understand you correctly, and you ARE NOT pursuing him a s a boyfriend, then there is nothing you can do to stop him from flirting---he's not your boyfriend. I don't know what the direct approach would get you, but you need to decide and figure out if you guys are going to be together. Otherwise, you can't determine who he flirts with (just like I couldn't change who you flirt with). WB if you need to---hope this helps.

If there is the smallest inclination that his friend may like you or vice versa then the chances of him making a move on you are very slim. He could be flirting with the other girl out of jealousy (of his friend and you).
Stp writing little notes...that's so 5th grade. Just go up to the guy, swallow the nervousness and ask him if he likes the other chick or what the deal is. Maybe your sending mixed signals and that's why he hasn't made a move yet!
