Change music ?

hey i bought somesongs off itunes
(i dont have ipod) and downloaded onto my computer
and i wanted to use them in a video i am making in windows movie maker but the music wont work because its the wrong file type i guess the music is M4P file and i have to change it either too MP3 or WMA how do i do it?
