The downfalls might be that it will make you comfortable and you might not seek employment as rapidly as you should. Of course it will not jeopardize anything for you. It is your money you worked for it. Just remember it doesnt last. Continue to seek employment. The pay you earn will almost always be more than what unemployment will give you. Apply asap because the first week is default you will not get paid for it. Best wishes

There is nothing really wrong with collection unemplyoment nor will it jeopardize you an any way the only thing you have to do is be looking for work when the unemplyment department calls you they just call you to check on how you are doing finding work. And if you have not found a job yet they somtimes give you a list of jobs to look in to, to see if you would like to work, while reciving unemplyment.

no, it wont jeopordize anything.
its like an insurance program. you paid money into it when you were working, so it would be there for you now.
