uhh...the only goal france scored was on a penalty kick.

As Kelly P has said France has done goal with a penalty, and we don't have to forget that referee was really good to give them that penalty, cause only him has seen that fault, and don't forget that referee has invalidate a regular goal to the Italian team too.
So maybe you are right isn't nice to win on penalty, but isn't nice too have all this present from referee and then won saying I play better.
At the end has won the team that played better and without present from referee.

France caused themselves the penalites; headbutt to the chest; So low and wrong!
Italy won fair and square.
I'm very pleased that Italy won; the French don't play nicely and deserve the shame of losing, once again.

Well then you can then count that Portugal game right out of the window for france wouldnt you say? Your reasoning is ridiculous. Italy won most of their games in action. Unlike France who always seemed to dive. I guess Italy is the better team.

No way...did you watch the game at all?? France's only goal was because of a PK..HELLO!! if anything they were lucky to have gotten the extra chance of winning with the final PKs but of course the french sissies blew it...anyways ITALIA by FAR is a better team overall when it comes to skills...so quit hatin..we won fair and square no excuses sore losers!!

It's not really fair...this is why France lost:
*Henry got substituted before the penalty shoot-out,
*Zidane (stupidly) got sent off,
*Viera got injured,
*& Trezegeu is on rubbish form(and missed France's Penalty).

Penalties are a bad way of winning and don't really show skill, in my opinion golden goal would be better.
But that's the rules of the game, so it's completely fair.

hell no it wasn't fair but Italy won.France had to win they were being offensive but they didn't take advantage when it was going well for them in the game.and it sucks how the last image of zidane was when he was taken out the game.he deserved a better retirement at least finishing the game.zidane is 1 of the greatest next to pele and maradona.
