is it just me,or yahoo answers gone down the drain?

look at my question,i dont even capaitilize or spell right right anymore,and i just saw a question on why poop smells,and it was in the cusine section,i think its gone the drain.

sometimes,ill ask intelligent or serious questions,and ill just get insulted, and i get sick of that.

I still capitalize and try to spell correctly so it's partly just you. ;D

I know there are some lousy questions on here. The moderators definitely haven't been able to keep up with the huge amount of questions that are constantly being asked (although you'd be amazed at how many they do remove almost immediately) because the site has grown so quickly. It takes a few days on average before they're able to review all the reports people send, but I understand that's a pretty tedious job.

I try to add some good questions and answers when I get the chance and I keep reporting violations of the community guidelines when I see them. If you have any ideas on how moderation could be improved, feel free to chime in on the user forum (linked in the upper right corner). We'd all love to see this site get cleaned up a bit.

All the Abuse, and rules set out by Yahoo have been broken, you can either live within the realm of humans, or you can leave; to go where . the Real World. get off the computer and enjoy life, beyond the confines of the Internet. People here are just trying to get point the easy way, have little smarts, so ask stupid questions, at the cost of the time and patience of those who truly need assistance.
Shame on them!
Ignore them, and only deal with those who need your help, all others can be left in the poop the inquire about.

Yahoo! Answers when it opened up for the masses started to go downhill as people dropped to the lowest common denominator. However, I still believe if you ask an intelligent question, you will receive a thoughtful answer. Many idiots would simply not comprehend your question and probably couldnt think of anything to post.

I don't know about down the drain, but I've been having trouble actually finding a question that I would want to answer. They seem kinda boring to me. I agree with Enterrador

There has just been a lot more attention paid to it lately so we are getting all kinds of wackos on here. I find it easy to ignore questions like those, although occasionally I do enjoy a random bizarre question. It just bothers me when the answerers are rude or their typing is so bad that it is actually unintelligible.

It's going down the drain, I guess. I try to give intelligent answers... but so many questions are just pathetic. People aren't trying... but that's the internet for you.

I'm new to "answers" - but have noticed that you are right.
Grammar is lacking. Spelling is awful. And perhaps even more disturbing, people seem to have the need to ask hateful, lurid, inflamming, racist, anti-Judeo-Christian questions that aren't even questions. They are statements with a question mark at the end.

If it has, then you're part of the reason. As far as Poop smelling goes, there is a scientific explanation for that. I heard it sometime back, but couldn't tell you what it was.

Yea and this question doesnt belong in this heading... I just started answering questions today for fun and I have seen some stupid ones. I guess yahoo hasnt paid many moderators to check/ban users.

that was my little bro asking that, he asked stuff like why does poop smell bad and why does pee taste bad and stuff, yahoo is really really ****** up, because i have hotmail for the email service and yahoo just for the answers, i always report people and yahoo never does anything.
