zidane is the classiest and most humble soccer player that has ever played this game. Don't let this moment of outrage make you think differently. This World Cup, FIFA made it an initiative to publically and formally minimize racism as much as possible. Following the shameless racism against Thierry Henry and now Zinedine Zidane it is clear that the world's most prominent sport is far from stainless in the race department. It has been reported that Materazzi called Algerian Muslim Zidane a "dirty terrorist" and if this really were the case, then Materazzi should face a heavy punishment by FIFA as a posterboy for their anti-racism campaign in this year's World Cup. Zidane is a magnificent player, and if he left this year's World Cup b/c some punk had the nerve to stoop so low at the world's greatest stage, then it doesn't prove Zidane is stupid, dumb, or classless, rather it proves he too is human.
