I prefer sunset because I don't like to get up early to watch a sunrise. I also like the colors of a sunset better, they are brighter and more alive! Something else that's fun is to watch a sunset, then stay up all night and watch the sunrise, it's so cool!

Depends on where you live.
Some places in California, there is so much pollution, that neither are worth watching.
In Hawaii it was the sun sets.
In the High Deserts of Oregon, both, the sunrises were worth getting up for and the sunsets were just as breath taking.
In Montana, the mountians here are so high that most of the color is gone before you see the sun. But some mornings...wow!!!

Sunrise. I'm on the east coast next to a beach, so you gotta love it more!
Sunset is beautiful, too, because of the wide variety of colors in the sky... but since I can't see it setting beyond the ocean it just isn't as wonderful.

As a cameraman, I've shot many sunsets and sunrises. No question that sunrises are better. I hate getting up though.

The sunrise is a beginning of a new day, with lots of good to come. The sunset means that the days over and its time to relax. Hmm, To sya if one is better or not depends on the day. on hellish days, it would be urning for the sun to set. Yet on big impotant days, sometimes you just can't wait for that sun to come up so you can have fun in the sun..

Sunset because sunrise is too freakin' early to be awake!!
Besides, I like endings better than beginnings.

Sunset the colors are so beautiful when the sky is turning dark. I saw one over New Mexico that I remember to this day. There is something special about that last bit of light.

I prefer sunrise. When my husband and I were dating (I met him online) He told me I was his sunrise because he thought of me when he would get up for work and look at the clock in the morning

Sunset...i don't understand people who like the mornings, they are so depressing in my opinion. Also there are a lot more colours in sunsets
