Um, you need to edit your question. Nothing MADE Zidane headbutt the Italian player. That was all his own doing. You make it sound as if he had no other choice. The question should be, "What was said to Zidane to influence or motivate him to do the headbutt?"

apparently, zidane was extremely insulted by the italian player who said:
"ur 2 old, go get a pension and live in an old folks home"
zidane pretended it was funny at 1st with his cheeky smile
then he turned around and "BOOM" the italian player didnt know what had hit him. thanks to the assisstant referee, zidane was sent off in his last ever professional football match.
