Sure, mate. Females can use their looks to lure in their prey before they attack. Ha ha.

Yea I think so. Like someone mentioned already, the female protects the young. A female mosquito is the one that bites, and female spiders eat the males (true, those are only insects, but still). In my Psychology course we were told that women have a higher tolerance for pain (a couple guys had a problem with this of course). And statistics show that women live longer than men by at least four years.

It's soo true. The black widow and the praying mantis bite off their mates' heads after mating. Females usually establish the environment for the offspring and for the family. And of course, the females of the human species are definitely deadlier than the male species---that's why there are so many derogatory terms for us and barely any for men (hence the word b*tch).

Depends on the species! Humans, males have itb hands down, black widows, females to the male, praying mantis, females to the male. In both insects the female kills and eats her mate! Icky! In some species the males is the one with all the good looks, go figure!

It is SO true!
My female cockatoo screams louder (deafening) and bites harder than the male.
My captive bred female dwarf seahorses have spines (not related to the gender according to any research I've done, but still interesting).

No, this is not true, lions are one exception to this, even though the females hunt and kill the prey, the males eat first. If a female tries to defend her cub from a male, he may kill them both.

I wouldn't want to mess with any mother whose babies are in danger - and I know many women who are just as protective with their men.
Where the whole "women are the weaker sex" thing came from, I really don't know.
