My time is currently worth $12.50 per hour according to my employer. I disagree, of course, but what can you do?

At home, my time is priceless to my daughter who would love it if I could play with her all her waking hours.

To me, a hour by myself, with no interruptions, would be worth more than I can tell you!

I believe the actual equation is being worked on at MIT.
They are using variables like:
Happiness Quotient
Income Quotient
Hours Devoted to Family/Charity/Friends etc
Pi x how much you like it
and so on
By the way, you own me now, 4 my time...

My employers bill clients about $80/hour for my services.
I actually get paid about 17--18% of that. I think my services are much more valuable than my regular hourly pay.
