We do. We just haven't been very successful. This is the most shameful thing the US has ever done. We will keep protesting.

I have much passion about these wars, and have to temper my answers with compassion.
OK, When the warriors hide in crowds, aren't brave enough to come forward and fight, some innocent are going to be killed. When warriors don't wear a uniform, then anyone around them should run and hide. WE have the most lethal armed forces in the history of humankind. We wear a uniform to let everyone know who we are. If the people we are fighting had as much courage, they would be defeated in days, so they hide among the innocent, and the innocent gets killed.
You should be glad we aren't as uncivilized as the warriors who are among those people, because we would just destroy everything and everyone with one fast action. That isn't bragging, that is just the truth. Look at our technology, or weapons, our power, we are being very restrained. In one fell swoop we could destroy every city in Afghanistan and Iraq. So before you point out the ugliness of war, remember our enemies hide among the innocent.
I would also suggest that Afghanistan and Iraq not get the anger of the American people up! Once that happens the wrath of GOD will be up on you!

Apparently you don't get American news. Which is pretty normal if you don't live in the U.S. :)
There are Americans protesting, but we don't do it with guns. Protesting in the U.S. usually consists of everything from writing your representative to marching (without the intention of taking over) Washington D.C.
A counter-question: Why aren't we seeing people protest the killing of civilians and destroying of homes by groups like Taliban or al-Qaeda? It is either accepted or blamed on someone else.

It's not American's place to protest. We are not there to see what has happened. This kind of case must go before the military Judges. We don't know that it's true until they have had their day in court. We can't race to judgement without hearing all sides.
Of course it is the American pressure that brings these kind of cases to the courts for answers and if proven to be truth, punishment. We certainly don't want that kind of action from our military or anyone else.

We do! The media may not show it, but I have been in two marches, one in New York City, where we were 10,000 strong and another in Washington, DC where there were over 30,000! Then when I looked for it on the news, there was a short segment that made our cause look small and made it equally as important as the 500 or so people who were there supporting the war! I was ANGRY at the media!

I think the general public does not want to see an innocent civilian killed but when the combatants hide in the midst of a crowd or use them as a shield innocent people are cound to get hit in the cross-fire.

Americans are blinded. The work, go to the mall, eat fast food, and sit in front of the t.v watching useless reality shows. they really don't care what the soldiers are doing in iraq and Afghanistan. They just know that they are not being bombed, so the assume whatever the soldiers are doing is protecting them.
did you know these "patriotic symbols of freedom" american soldiers are raping 6 and 8 year old girls in Iraq?

Because you, me and the protesters chances are have never been to either of those places to see it with our own eyes and some people are so simple minded enough to believe anything the media tells them without getting the whole story.
