Probably the time of the bottleneck theoretically caused by a supervolcano. I think it's about 6000 years ago, probably not.

Well, that's a tough question to answer. It's difficult to tell exactly. Estimates put the world population somewhere around 4 million in the year 10,000 BC, 5 million in 8,000 BC. Probably the world propulation would have been around 2,000 people somewhere in the time of 25,000-35,000 BC, but it could have been earlier than that, or later, depending on who you believe. There really isn't any accurate data on that.
To get where they come up with the estimate, you have to consider that between 10,000 BC and 1 AD, the population grew from somewhere around 4 million up to between 100 and 400 million. That's not a lot of growth in that much time, so the estimates going backwards are based on the growth between 10,000 BC and 1 AD, which is why there is such a large time-scale to work off of.

Your thinking that one person was created at a time. And your thinking backwards. 'WAS DOWN TO', how about when did the population reach 2,000 long ago? Then in most recent years, you will only find statistics of that number for a few races or bands. You will have to speculate otherwise, for your creation story answer.

A quick reverse-calculation of the speed of human reproduction(homo erectus, that is) i'd say grossly about 28,000-35,000 years ago.
