Name them after someone in your family. Someone who means a lot to you. Your grandpa, your dad, your uncle, brother. You can use a family name for a middle name, like your mother's maiden name, or the baby's paternal grandmother's maiden name.
Don't do anything that's just "popular." Go to www.babynames.com and immediately cross out the top 20-30 name in each catagory. I hated being "Sarah M" and I was "Sarah M" all through elementary school because we also had "Sarah K", "Sarah H" and "Sarah G." Yup.. kids love to feel different, special and unique, I hated having an intial attached to my name!
If you have to have a popular name, pair it with something classic and masculin, especially if you use a unisex name like Morgan, Taylor, or Jamie, because those are all girls' names too.
Also, you may want to avoid "unique" spellings. Think about him, someday, having to spell his name for someone, over and over....
Remember this kid probably won't ever change his name, so you want it to be something that's appropriate for a baby, a child, a teenager, and a man. Yup, he's gonna be a man some day. :) Think about him writing it on his resume some day, so you probably want something that sounds pretty professional, or respectful.
You must watch tv, or read books, so you must have heard a man's name that you really like. A character on a soap opera, or in your favorite book. Pick something that sounds good to you! :)
