I have this friend who I'm crazy about. We met online and it seemed promising but we never hooked up (bummer). However, we did get to be good friends and now we hang out. The thing I don't get is, why has he continued to hang out with me all this time if he's not interested? I can understand that we can just be friends, but one minute he'll be all buddy-buddy and the next he can be a jackass. I'll think he's actually interested in me as a person and then he blows me off or I'll even feel like he's uncomfortable with me. I just don't understand what going on in his head.
Sadly, I know this sounds HS, but we're talking mid-twenties. Any insights? I hope I explained the situation well. Also, now he has a girlfriend, but it's the same old thing with me.

He actually seems like a pretty stable and cool guy, not your typical asshole male, which is why I don't understand what he's thinking. I'm glad we became friends and I'm cool with just that, but I just don't get him?!

People don't hang out with people unless they are interested---whether it's platonic or not. I don't know if he likes you but he sounds like he has emotional problems. Does he have family issues or is he having a rough time with his gf right now? Whatever it is, it sounds like he has a conflict over something in his life and that's why he is all happy with you at times and then acts likes a jackass at times. Talk to him---if you two are really friends, then he shouldn't mind opening up to you but if he doesn't tell you anything, don't force the issue. Oh, and when he starts to act like a a jackass, tell him to beat it. You don't need that negativity around you.

Gurl if I was u I would just not hope 4 anything 4rm him. It's his lost . If he wants 2 be a butt head let him be one. Go find someone who wants u 2 and will appreciate u! Hope I helped some.

some time sguys cannot be got,you have to let them be hoo they are.your better off being just friends.
