Well, yes and no. Smegma is normal, as in it's a natural thing produced by your body, but too much of it is bad (like pretty much anything else). Just wash your foreskin and penis daily and it shouldn't build up, and you shouldn't have the odor that goes with it. If you want to be sure it never builds up, retracting your foreskin everytime you pee helps a lot.

Smegma, a transliteration of the Greek word σμήγμα for soap, is a combination of exfoliated (shed) epithelial cells, transudated skin oils, moisture, and bacteria that can accumulate under the foreskin of males and within the female vulva area, with a characteristic strong odor and taste.
So in other words...yea it's pretty bad for your health. You should see a doctor A.S.A.P.

I believe Smegma is the cheesy build up that occurs between the penis and foreskin, and I believe the cause of it is poor hygiene.

Yes it is very unhealthy. You are risking an infection in a very sensitive area!

get to a doctor and get that taken care of. I don't know if it's bad for your health but it's gross

well it's not bad for your health...it's natural...although you really should keep it clean..not too sure if it's implicated in female cancers though.

no its not totally unhealthy if its kept in check, it should be washed away daily.
