9 weeks is too early, more like 20 weeks 1st time
could be digestion
or a lot of other things going on, thickening, hormones
sure is 9 weeks?

with my 1st pregnancy i felt movement at 18 weeks. 2ed pregnancy 15 weeks. This current pg #3 movement at 13 weeks. 9 week pregnancy is to small to feel. Your baby is already moving often thou. It is a bit bigger then a kidney bean and weighs less then a ounce. You could be farther along however. Pregnancy increases gas you may be feeling that, it can feel just like movement. 1st time moms don't feel the baby until average of 16 to 22 weeks. 2ed pregnancy is felt sooner. It is even rare to feel a 2ed or more at 13 weeks about 15 is average for a 2ed or more pregnancy. I'm 15 weeks still don't look very pregnant. pregnancy start to show at different times thou depending on where the baby is and your shape. Still it is common not to show till 4 or 5 months. CONGRATS. I have heard of moms feeling twins sooner then a single pregnancy. At 15 weeks the baby only weighs a few ounces and about 4.5 inches long. Growth picks up a lot after 15 weeks.

you are probably just more tuned into the sensations you normally have down there, but usually ignore, like gas bubbles or bladder contractions. at 9 weeks with your first pregnancy, or even later pregnancies, i've never heard of anyone feeling any fetal movement until at least 14 weeks. the baby is just too weak to do anything you could feel right now and your uterus doesn't grow large enough to be felt outside of the pelvic bones until you are about 11-12 weeks.

Yaaaay, yes, this is normal! I bet you are thin! Thinner women tend to feel movement earlier than thicker women. I felt movement later than 9 weeks. Enjoy the feeling ...it's great isn't it? My little girl is 3 months today!

Good Luck!

I find that it's normal if your very thin. The doctors and nurses will tell you that it's gas or stomach acids but they are wrong.

Its probably just movement of your uterus, you can't really feel your baby this early.
