Are these "house lizards" inside or outside?
I think you are talking about house geckos. They are cool little lizards usually found outside on the side of the house at night. They eat small insects so you shouldn't be trying to get rid of them unless you like small insects!
If you find one inside, catch it & release it outside.

If I saw a lizard I would freak out lol let alone catch one! I DO agree though that they are great for catching insects but they are not good around food for sure. I have the same problem at times but the only way to get rid of them is to chase them with a long duster to the nearest exit, either through an open window or door. Just a word of warning though, these things jump :o . Ask me - I know!

house lizards are a sign of good luck. They eat insects and would never hurt you. Just live with them and pretend they are pets.

just block up every hole that you see outside of your house. Like I have one from my air conditioning unit and one from the hot water tank. I bought dryer screens and put them over the pipes. I havent had any in here since I did this. But... they wont hurt you, I dont like creatures in my house either... if they come in, just catch them and throw them outside. ( i have someone else do that) but try to cover all holes that lead inside AND make sure that your doors are shut tight each and every time that you leave home.

The cat idea above is prob the cheapest and easiest way.

uh when i find lizards i bring them in the house, cause they eat bugs, i like them if you catch one and rub it under its' chin it will relax and be your friend. when i was growing up our house trim was green so we had lots of lizards!
