yeah, sorry, actually, Clinton had a very similar Hawaiian conservation plan in the works when Bush became president, and Bush struck it down. Since then, he's done horrible things to the environment. He's got the worst environmental record of any President since T. Roosevelt, and arguably before then, too. Sure, maybe he's repented for all the **** he's done to our environment, but there's no denying that part of the reason he's trying to make some reparations are to try to bring up with record-low approval numbers. So, yeah, question asker: How about you try to get informed from both sides of an issue before you try to publicize some hype that just plain isn't the whole story?

What utter crap. He won't even admit global warming exists, but he sure as hell wants to appear friendly to the environment now that the mid-term elections are 16 weeks away.
America, look for more token actions by Bush in the weeks leading up to his November spanking.

Wow, I see lots of logical arguments against this. Where's the proof people!? That's the President's official platform on the environment. If he wasn't out trying to pass bills to support the platform, he wouldn't have that platform, now would he?
