1) Highlight the text that you want to copy
2) Either do a Ctrl-C (holding down Ctrl first and hit C) or go to Edit>Copy in your browser.
3) Go to the place where you want to paste the text. Either do a Ctrl-V (holding down Ctrl first and hit V) or go to Edit>Paste in your browser.

I am not sure why you can't cut and paste in Yahoo mail. I just tryed in my e-mail it works 100%. I have noticed in order to cut and paste the entire e-mail it requires you include items below the e-mail which I post the cut n paste on the windows note pad delete what is not needed. And is cut and paste limited to Yahoo mail . You might need a new mouse those buttons wear out if your like me I must use mine a million times a day. Try an old mouse see what it can accomplish. Hope this has been helpful and good luck!

You can. You have to use the shortcuts and not the right click.

Use CTRL C (CUT)
Use CTRL V (PASTE)
