You want to self-publish a book, on-line, for free? I don't think there is such a site.
Why are you looking at self-publishing? There are better routes to go, if you have a good manuscript. Barnes and Noble are involved in an 'on-demand' publication process, whereby they list books, but they don't have hard copies in the store. When a customer orders the book, it is printed and delivered overnight. Quite amazing, really. It means they can offer a huge catalogue of books without the expense of storing vast numbers of books they may never be able to sell.
Self-publishing is always dicey, because you really do need a good editor to make sure you have something worth publishing, and then there is the problem of marketing your work, which can really toss a monkey wrench (an expensive one at that!) into the works.
Hope this is helpful.

Physically publish? Or electronically? There are several ebook sites online (that's what they're called by the way, ebooks). But to get it physically printed will cost money.
