Mine are a darkish green, or brown as someone calls them. They were dark brown when I was little. Now they have lightened up some. My mother has brown eyes, and my father has blue, so I think they have lightened up slightly over the years. I've been told that eyes don't change colors, but I think they do, my grandmother has had brown eyes for years, and in her old age, they turned blue. Go figure. I wished I'd had blue eyes and blonde hair like my sister, but I took after the Indian side and have black hair and brown eyes. It's hard to believe that a very blonde/blue eyed sister could have a very dark haired dark eyed sibbling. But it happened. Isn't it interesting how one family can have two very different looking children?

I have dark-brown eyes that change in the summer. In the winter they look black, but if you look at my eyes in the light there a dark brown, and in the summer the dark brown is a little more noticeable than in the winter. I would love to have jade eyes, I tried on the contacts and it goes wonderfully with my skin tone and it makes me look a little more earthy, which I really like.

My parents think my eyes are brown, my little brother tells me they are S**T brown, but I think that my eyes are hazel, since they actually have a lot of green in them, especially when I wear green tops.
