How do I change the way my name appears when I send out an e-mail through Outlook express? The "sender's name" appears in the recipient's e-mail box as a different name than mine (previous worker at my job), and I need to switch it to something more generic.

On outlook express, go to TOOLS, then click on My Accounts. You should be able to change your name in that menu under the General tab in the USER NAME field.

You can even change the "reply to" field...which means, when you send out an email, it will list that email address you put in that field as the reply to address instead.

Try going to accounts under the tool menu. Then select the acount you want to modify ( might need to do test and check on that) then click properties and then change the name. I think that should work for you.

You click on tools at the top and then click accounts, and then click on properties and change whatever you need to change.
