It means that all things are relative and names and labels don't mean anything if the general consensus doesn't agree.

it means that the guy who is wearing the red glasses sees the guy's glasses purple when the are blue n vice versa

If you are looking at blue glasses through red glasses, then you'd see purple, and vise versa.

blue could mean clear, like the sky
red could mean passionate.
