You can file for legal emancipation, but the courts will only grant it to you if they feel it's in your best interest. In other words, they'll only grant it if your parents are being abusive or neglectful.

Generally, you cannot. Divorce applies to married people only. If a child does not want to be with his/her parents, it is either because the parents do not meet the child's needs or the child is too stubborn to listen to his/her parents. Parents and children should start talking without ending up yelling at each other. Conflicts should be reached by consensus. If conflicts cannot be resolved internally, the family needs counselling.

The challenge for the entire family is to promote a wholesome culture of love, understanding, and support to each other. The parents should be proponents of this culture. The children should wholeheartedly partake in the family culture.

Yes, a family has its own subculture. Different families may have different subcultures. A family subculture is based on values picked up from religious beliefs, ethics learned from grandparents, and ethics learned from ethnic origins, to name a few. This subculture is what the child first experiences as he/she grows up before being exposed to the outside world. Most of the time, the family culture is taken for granted because once the child sees the outside world, which may have a totally different value base from the family. Follow the values that are morally good.

If problems in the family cannot be mended, it might be possible that a child might already facing some sort of domestic abuse. This is child abuse. If that is the case, child abuse must be reported to Child Welfare. When this happens, there is a chance that the child will be taken away from the parents and later assigned to more suitable foster parents.

Is that something you really want to do?

It might be hard for you now to deal with them, but think that they will never leave you stranded.

You can't divorce your parent, that is blood in between the three of you. Be grateful that you have parents, other children wish to be in your shoe.

Wow, had to come back to tell you, not to take big-red advise, that is so sick. Don't let the devil influence your head. I was raised without a mom, and everyday I wish I had one, because when you are sad, she is there to comfort you, when you are confuse, she will bright up your way. When you are broke, she will never let you hungry, when you are homeless, she will always open the doors for you.

Please don't listen to bad negative answers.

God bless you!
