Ok for anyone who has already seen the movie. I'm really confused. Does Jack Sparrow actually die at the end? Cuz I heard they were already working on a third movie.

It implies that he dies, but we dont know for sure- one of the many techniques to make us watch the third movie. But it was a good movie. The movie gears towards an invincible Jack Sparrow, remember the 1st when he was left on an to die-but he didnt.My best guess is he didnt die in the 2nd or he came back as a ghost. Cant wait to watch the 3rd

1st its Captain Jack Sparrow he didnt take over the black Pearl to be called Jack Sparrow. 2nd no cause the third movie is about the crew saving him.
also it WAS a great movie although it had a few gross parts in it.

3rd movie has already been filmed and is on the editing floor now!!!!!! 2nd movie is great!!!!!!!!!! leaves you in a cliff hanger. Definitely sets up the 3rd movie. Does Capt. Jack Die? Don't know. How much do I give away if you haven't seen the movie, nada!!!!We do see him in a very sticky situation, BUT we don't actually see him die! But hey it's Hollywood, Right???
PS. watch the very end of the 2nd movie and the movie it's self will give you your answer, SAVVY!

i dont think he dies.hes jack sparrow!in the third i heard someone is playing his father.and if the movie doesnt have jack sparrow in it,i dont think it would be as good.
