electrostimulation is tricky and can be dangerous if someone isn't familiar with T.E.N.S. The unit itself requires a prescription and is generally used for chronic pain relief. Carefully applied for erotic use however, the effect can be quite amazing...male or female. The electrode placement is very important when playing with T.E.N.S...keep them away from the temples, carotid arteries and near the heart. Settings on the unit can be quite intense, ranging from a pleasant tingling stimulus to outright excrutiating pain! Read up on the internet and get some safety tips and pointers...a good site I'd recommend is the Fetish Information Exchange (www.FIE.com) Have fun *wink*

Like many other similar activities, EES is only harmful if used to excess. Also, as previous answer says, there are safety precautions you need to take. But that said guys [and gals!], I say experiment and enjoy.
