In order for a free society to function there has to be many different points of view. Instead of asking a very shallow minded question why don't to post a viable solution?

I have to say none, because there is no other intelligent response. As the saying goes, "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it." Even the Nazis deserve a place in the history books (most of all, in fact) so that we can recognize the warning signs and prevent a future holocaust. The question should have been, "What party do we want to stop from dominating our future?", and then my answer would be the Republicans, because they're determined to rob us of our freedom. The patriot act and the Constitutional amendments they keep trying to force on us are abominations that undermine the Bill of Rights and everything else our forefathers fought for and cherished. If the Republicans were opposed to big govenment as they claim, they would not be trying to write their oppressive radical right-wing politics into our Constitution.

None. Well, okay, Republicans.

I would LOVE to say the Republican party, but it used to be the "party of the people" helping the poor and middle class as the Democrats do now. Lincoln was Republican and look what he did for the less fortunate. However, the relgious right has control of the party and devastated it, turning it into a sideshow that does nothing but "spin control" has has such evil characters as drug addicted (fact) people as Rush Limbaugh, (the mentally ill, IMHO) Ann Coulter, and other people to represent them and no other republicans are even ashamed.

Are we allowed to say that the question makes no sense? Abolished from history? How are you suggesting we'd change the accounting of what has already happened in the past?

Your very question is nonsense, you can't abolish someone from history. History is by definition non-subjective what happened is what happened whether you like it or not. For example just because a Nazi doesn't like the fact that they lost the war doesn't change the fact that they did. Try as you may you can't change the truth.

How very Stalinist of you!

Instead of "abolishing" political parties from history ... we should ban idiots and morons from *today*!

I think that shoe fits you very well.

How do you abolish anything from history? It happened and you can't erase it.

Both. I think we should go back to a monarchy with a king and queen like they have in Britain. As long as the king isn't Bush, we'd be ok.
