Megadeth, Metallica, Dio, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Pantera, Black Label Society, Ozzy. I know they aren't really new metal bands but if you never heard of some of them you need to check them out. An one more thing, that moron who listed Nirvana and Bon Jovi as metal needs to have their head examined.

Korn, System of a Down, Mettalica, The Autumn Offering and some people argue if they are metal but Avenged Sevenfold.
