I don't think that's spelt right..is it oxazepam? If so then the drug is used to relieve anxiety. Here is some more info

Would you mean "diazepam"? This is a medication that acts on the central nervous system...it's common name is Valium...a tranquilizer, muscle relaxer, etc.
